Speaking of Smoothies.......................

We all have those days when we DON'T want to even think about our 5 a day. We just DON'T feel like eating fruit and veg! So has anyone ever thought of the word SMOOTHIES Smoothies can combine anything from 1-100 different fruits to give you a good 99.999999999% of your 5 a day! Sometimes you can even add veg (ewwwww) I know I said sometime meaning when you are feeling ADVENTUROUS!!!! Anyways so I thought I would put 2 smoothie recipes up which you can add fruits to so you can enjoy your 5 a day every day of the week even when you DON'T want to have your 5 a day!

California Smoothie RecipeCALAFRONIA SMOOTHIE

Serving: 1 very thristy person (who really does not want there 5 a day)

INGREDIANTS:
7 large strawberries
1 (8 ounce) conatainer lemon yougurt
1/3 cup orange juice

DIRECTIONS:
Place strawberries in a plastic container and freeze for about an hour.
In a blender, combine frozen strawberries, yogurt and orange juice. Blend until smooth. Pour into a tall glass and serve.

MELON SMOOTHIE
Melon Smoothie RecipeServing: 4 ( 4 people who will have a little veg):)

INGREDIANTS:
1/4 cantaloupe -peeled-seeded and cubed
1/4 honeydew melon peeled-seeded and cubed
1 lime, juiced
2 tablespoons sugar

DIRECTIONS:

In a blender, combine cantaloupe, honeydew, lime juice and sugar. Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve.
